سِتْر کسے کہتے ہیں؟

سُوال : سِترِ عورت کسے کہتے ہیںـ؟
جواب:سِتر کے لُغوی معنٰی ہیں چُھپانا ،ڈھانپنا۔
جن اَعضاء کا چُھپانا ضَروری ہے ان کو عورت کہتے ہیں اور مجموعی طور پرچھپانے کے اس عمل کو سِترِ عورت (یعنی پوشیدہ اَعضاء کا چھپانا)کہتے ہیں۔
ہمارے عُرف میں ان مخصوص اَعضاء کو بھی سِتر کہتے ہیں جن کا چھپایا جانا ضَروری ہے۔
بہارِ شریعت''جلد اوّل صَفْحَہ479پر صدرُ الشَّریعہ،بدرُ الطَّریقہ حضرتِ علامہ مولیٰنامفتی محمد امجد علی اعظمی علیہ رحمۃ اللہ القوی فرماتے ہیں:
سِتْرِ عورت (یعنی سِتر چھپانا)ہر حال میں واجِب ہے خواہ نَماز میں ہو یا نہیں، تنہا ہو یا کسی کے سامنے ۔بِلا کسی غرضِ صحیح کے تنہائی میں بھی (سِتر)کھولنا جائز نہیں اور لوگوں کے سامنے یا نَماز میں تو سِتْر(چھپانا) بالاِجماع فرض ہے۔

سِتْرکے مُتَعلِّق اَحکام کی دو اَقسام ہیں:
(1) نَمازمیں مردو عورت کے لئے سِتْرکے احکام
(2) غیرِ نماز میں سِتْر کے احکام کہ کون کس کس کے جسم کے کون سے حصّے پرنظر کر سکتا ہے ۔

If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text.
